Koh Samui thailand travel guide - Tourist information

Koh Samui is the third largest island of Thailand after Phuket and Koh Chang and one of the most popular destinations for tourists. In a few years it is gradually developing as a tourist popular beaches and destination but still maintained its charm and unspoilt nature on the island. Popular beaches are Chaweng, Lamai, Bophut & Maenam.

Koh Samui has everything to offer - from beaches filled with thousands of coconut trees tropical jungles to a vibrant naughty nightlife. Accommodations range from cheap bungalows and family-friendly villas to 5 star boutique resorts and it means there are suitable for all budgets. Restaurants of all tastes for delicious wining and dining and spas and famous Thai massage for your holiday. There is a lot to see, for example waterfalls, temples and butterfly garden, tiger zoo, monkey theater, snake and crocodile farm and so on. Activities include diving, elephant trekking, canoeing, sailing, golfing, fishing, biking are all available on the island. Day tours to the neighbor islands of Koh tao and Koh Phangan and the Angthong Marine National Park are worth attending. Samui island has easy access from Bangkok, Singapore and Hongkong by direct flights and from Suratthani province by ferry services.

With lovely beaches and laid back atmosphere, Thailand's beautiful island, Koh Samui, is not only popular for travel but also foreigners owning villas and property.
